The export credit insurance coverage encompasses PRE-SHIPMENT, CREDIT AND CCR RISKS.
PORTARIA/MF #196 OF AUGUST 19th 1997, authorized SBCE to operate exclusively in the export credit insurance modality.
LAW # 6,704 OF OCTOBER 26th 1979, rules on the export credit insurance.
LAW # 9,818 OF AUGUST 23rd 1999, created the Export Guarantee Fund (FGE), linked to the Finance Ministry, aimed at conceding coverage to theguarantees provided by the State in export credit insurance operations. FGE's resources are destined to operations with political and extraordinary risks coverage and to commercial risk operations with finance terms over two years.
DECREE # 3,937, OF SEPTEMBER 25th 2001, with the due changes from Decrees # 4,041 of 12/03/2001 and # 4,539 of 12/23/2002, rules Law # 6,704/79.
DECREE # 4,929 OF DECEMBER 23rd 2003, entitles to BNDES the competence to act as manager of the Export Guarantee Fund.
DECREE # 4,993 OF FEBRUARY 18th 2004, creates the Export Financing and Guarantee Committee - COFIG.
LAW # 10,856 OF APRIL 5th 2004, adopted the Medida Provisória # 143 of 10 December 10th 2003, with changes in the mechanisms of Law # 9,818 of August 23rd de 1999, and with the extinction of the Board of the Board of the Export Credit Guarantee Fund.
DECREE # 5,086 OF MAY 19th 2004 alters the participation of the State in nas perdas líquidas definitivas nas operações cursadas no CCR.
